SOHO, NYC. 1988
3D Graffiti
I cemented my first borns dresses around Soho to commemorate my new chapter in fatherhood.
2am, I went rogue and put up my art in Soho. My assistant Tony Breuer helped me as we dipped the dresses in a mix of white latex paint, resin, and cement. I stuck the dresses on the walls of West Broadway after dipping them in the mixture.
Next day, I received a call from Neke Carson that people were already taking them home. So I ran down with my daughter to photograph them.
